Work/Life Service

Establishing and maintaining a balance between home and work is a difficult challenge. Southwest EAP can work with employees to find childcare and eldercare resources that meet the needs of their family. This is a valuable service as it is often difficult to be a parent or caregiver. It is even more difficult when changes occur or new arrangements have to be made. Our counselors can help employees through these tough times.

Childcare Resources:

  • Adoption
  • Childcare Centers
  • Sick childcare
  • Summer camps
  • Emergency back-up care
  • After school programs
Eldercare Resources:
  • Assisted Living
  • In-home care givers
  • Skilled nursing home
  • Care giver resources
  • Relocation Services
Face-to-Face Services - In office appointments with one of our counselors. We will make an assessment of the available resources and provide you with detailed information.

Online Services - Another facet of the Work/Life services is our online service. This is a web-based program that is offered as an adjunct to core EAP services. A 24-hour comprehensive nationwide employee support network is available to provide employees with qualified referrals, resources and education. Logging on the service will permit employees to search for eldercare and childcare options in any area nationwide.

Employees can access Work/Life services in person, by phone, or online at their convenience and work/life professionals are available to ensure ease and accuracy. These services are designed to help employees balance their job, family and personal responsibilities with minimal impact to attendance and work performance.

Work/Life services are available on a contractual basis. Please contact Southwest EAP or your Human Resources Department to determine if your company has provided these options in your program.
